This year's Staff Appreciation Luncheon was centered around the theme of an Italian Restaurant. Beside incredible food the parents created an atmosphere that was unbelievable to the smallest detail. Take a look at all the pics that show how they captured the Italian ambiance. They even had student gondoliers with one of the staff singing an Italian opera while being drawn through the pool in the boat pictured below. What a wonderful expression of love and support for the staff from our Grace International School parents.

On 28/01/11 the Williams family (Kathy, Don, Tad, Megan, Josiah and Michaela) joined the high school students from Grace International School and visited Agape Home Orphanage. Michaela has a buddy she plays with and prays for each time they get together. Both Josiah and Katelyn have also been a part of this student ministry outreach over their time at Grace. The boy Sy's pictured with was his buddy a couple years ago before he graduated from Grace.

Dear parents and students at GIS:

Here are some details we had confirmed recently regarding the court case against the school:

All documents for our case were forwarded to the Chiang Mai Appellate Court on June 14, 2010.

The third defendant (Grace International School Educational Foundation) requested a change of venue. Because of this the Chiang Mai Appellate court has sent our request to Bangkok. Our change of venue request was sent to Bangkok on September 22, 2010.

For the time being, we need to wait for the decision of the appellate court in Bangkok. They will decide whether to accept our request for a change of venue or not. If not, our case will be sent back to the Chiang Mai Appellate Court.

Thought you might be interested in seeing this update.

Sincerely

Don Williams, Superintendent

Grace International School
