Welcome to our world
A Blast From the Past - February 22, 2006
Thanks for popping in to see how we are doing!
This is a very full week of events at school and at home which are very much intertwined.
Sy, Katelyn, and Michaela have been taking Iowa tests this week in conjunction with the ESD (Extension Service Department, the Dept. at Grace which oversees and provides resources for our students who are homeschooled) kids who have come with their parents to attend an annual week of conferences with various classes they can choose from such as re-entry, get ready for college, learn Excel, and classes to better help parents teaching at home.
The ESD students have had an exhibit of their work and tonight is an awards ceremony for them also. We are hosting two ladies from Biola tonight before the program.
This Friday Don is launching a time of prayer and fasting for all in the Grace community (students, parents, board, staff). Each one is to use one meal time a week for four weeks to spend in prayer for the school and our community.
Kathy is involved in a prayer study of Nehemiah with the goal of establishing a CBSI Bible study for women in Chiang Mai next fall.
We are all working on getting well from a spell of sore throats and bronchitis. Next week we go as a family to attend the S.E. Asian Free Methodist conference.

Our blog page is going to be for those who want more details about our ministry at GIS and the happenings in the Williams family. We also hope to put many pictures for you to view. This month we've imported a bunch of pictures we thought you might enjoy viewing.
