The FM Church in Chiang Mai, Thailand

This picture is of Bootsagawn (age 11) on her baptism day.

This next picture is a family portrait of the pastor, his wife and their three children. From left to right: Chutima (age 15), Bo (age 5) with Onn (Joshua's wife) on her lap, Bootsagawn (age 11), Joshua (the Thai FMC pastor).

Please pray for Joshua, Onn and their girls. Pray for the church that it would bring hope and healing to the city of Chiang Mai. Also that the Lord would use Joshua's leadership to disciple and train up those who would go out into the community to live as witnesses to the power of Christ in their lives. Pray for a mighty movement of Christ in Chiang Mai through the church, the body of Christ. Pray with us for the support in prayer and finances Joshua needs to find a larger place to meet for church, for funding for their children's education, and for their general month to month needs. Onn has a job working at a hospital to help make ends meet.

BoA (Board of Administration) of Thailand Meets

Pictured below is the BoA of Thailand, not including Kathy and Don. They had just completed a day of meetings. Kathy and Don joined them at the end of the afternoon. Don shared his testimony as they considered him for ministerial candidacy.

After Don shared his testimony the group laid hands on and prayed for him. Pictured below is a Thai national who also shared his testimony and who also desires to be a ministerial candidate.

Bua-Tong (yellow flower) Weekend Family Camping Trip

Back in November our family invited another missionary family and two of our Thai friends to camp out at the Bua Tong Blossom Festival held each year in November. The hillsides of Khun Yuam and Mae Sariang districts were filled with a host of golden Bua Tong (yellow flower) blossoms. As gay as a daisy and almost as large as a sunflower, the Bua Tong only blossoms for a month. Where we camped the blossoms appeared profusely.

The view looing down from our camp site.

Katelyn taking time to smell the folwers.

Michaela enjoying the beauty of God's creation.

Sy's action shot (only took a 1/2 dozen attempts to get this one pic).

Don cooking satay on a bucket barbacue.
The fruit of all our labors. What a meal!

Our sleeping quarters.

Our family's friends, Wa and Prai joined us camping.
